Und wenn manche sagen, wir bräuchten ein gutes 800m-Frauenzentrum in Deutschland (z.B. auch für Kolberg), dann denke ich eher, dass es vor allem mit dem Trainer und der Trainingsgruppe passen muss. Genügend schnelle Trainingspartner für eine 1:57-1:59 gibt es schließlich auch im männlichen Bereich. Warum muss es eine reine Frauengruppe sein?
Gibt hier spannende Aussagen von Catherina Granz, die mal in einem reinen weiblichen Team in der Schweiz trainierte. Sie meinte der Vergleich sei einfach etwas ganz anderes. Bei Frauen wisse man wo man dann im Training steht. Und ihr hatte es vor allem vom psychologischen Effekt etwas gebracht in einem reinen Frauen Team trainiert zu haben. Bspw. habe Sie mit Männer trainieren müssen, und habe dasselbe Tempoprogramm wie diejenigen Jungs absolviert, die 3:55 (oder noch schneller, zumindest war es wenstlich schneller als ihre Zeit) liefen, um eine 4:05 oder so laufen zu können.
Über 800 Mter ist das ja noch unvergleichbarer denke ich.
Ich zitiere hier einfach auch mal einen kurzen Abschnitt aus der Juli-Ausgabe von leichtathletik training, in der es um die Frauentrainingsgruppe bei Louis Heyer geht:
