Owens Delerme ist auch für mich ein Medaillienkandidat.
Aber bei der Chancenbewertung geht es um ein bisschen mehr als Addition der PBs. Offenbar hat er ganz gezielt neue Schwerpunkte gesetzt und damit auch seinen Körper inkl. spezieller Fähigkeiten umgestaltet. Als er Kugel noch unter 15 m stieß lief er 1500 noch in 4:13,02, aber sein 1500er in über 4:40 dieses Jahr wahr keine Lustlosigkeit. Jetzt wo er inzwischen ein 16,26 Stoßer ist wird er kaum mehr unter 4:25 laufen können.
Kevin Mayer ist vor zwölf Jahren als ehemals dünnes Hemd (und unter 15 m Stoßer) noch 4:18,04 gelaufen.
Seit er 17 m Stoßer wurde läuft er nicht mehr unter 4:36
So ist halt der Mehrkampf.
Die 9000 traue ich Owens Delerme daher (noch) nicht zu
