Diese Aussage ist ja wohl nicht haltbar. Israel hatte bis 1988 überhaupt nie eine Medaille geholt an Olympia egal ob Sommer oder Winter. Mittlerweile sind es 7 aber auch, dass ist jetzt nicht gerade eine grosse Sportnation.
Dass die Spiele weitergehen war allen klar - denn alles andere wäre ein Totaltriumph der Terroristen gewesen.
