Randnotizen - Tribünenklatsch - Nachlese
a) Der erste Versuch im LJ von Victor war ja ungültig gegeben worden. Erst hatten die Fernsehsender (auch ORF/srf) dies ja heftig bezweifelt. Dann hat sich das ORF nochmal mit dem Kampfgericht zusammengesetzt und letztlich seine Meinung geändert. Für mich zeigt das aber mehr noch, dass die Regel vllt doch zu kompliziert ist. Zudem haben die in Talence23 noch mit Plastilin gearbeitet und Sprünge gültig durchgewunken, die hier wohl eher für ungültig deklariert worden wären.
b) Sarah Lagger wurde hier ja für ihre Leistung kritisiert. U.a. weil sie beim SP 2m unter ihrer PB lag. Sie hat aber verletzungsbedingt nicht bzw. nur eingeschränkt trainieren können. So ist sie im Training die Hürden nur bis zur 4. gelaufen. Dann hat sie beim Einwerfen-Speer gemerkt, dass der Rücken nach wie vor heikel ist und hat vorsorglich den Wettkampf abgebrochen. Nun kann man ja darüber streiten, ob sie hier überhaupt hätte antreten sollen. Aber noch sind ihre Chancen auf Paris größer als bei Dadic/Posch/Schuler. Zum einen hat sie noch Chancen über die Liste nach Rom zu kommen (sie kann nur von Eikeng - norw. MS am WE -, Scuzs - ung. MS am WE - und frz. bzw. schweiz. Konkurrentinnen bei F-Meetings verdrängt werden).
c) Die Austragung als "Österreichische SM" wurde vom ORF als absolut gelungen gefeiert ("Beste Idee seit langem"). Die Idee soll von Gregor Görgler - Sportdirektor ÖLV - stammen. Für Verena Mayr haben sich die Bonuspunkte gelohnt, sie ist nun für Rom fix qualifiziert und hat gute Chancen auf Paris. Ivona Dadic hat zumindest ein solides Ergebnis für die Paris-Liste. Sie wird in Ratingen antreten. 3 Knie-OPs und ein fast 16monatiger Ausfall lassen sich halt nicht so leicht kompensieren. Sie habe derzeit noch kein Vertrauen in die Sprünge und traue sich noch nicht wie früher "den Fuß hinzusetzen".
d) Auf und Ab bei Simon Ehammer. Seine Vorhersagen für 100m/LJ (30er Zeit und zw. 8.30 und 8.50) sind ja ungefähr eingetroffen (wenn der mit dem richtigen Anlauf-Rhythmus mal exakt den Balken trifft sind da sogar 8.5m+ drin). DT war dann eine Katastrophe und dass er dann nach erneut unter seinen Erwartungen verlaufendem Speer sich die 1k5 geschenkt hat, kann ich in einem Olympiajahr verstehen.
e) Nicht so richtig verstehen kann ich dagegen die hier geäußerte Kritik an den dt. Mklern. Zum einen sind 4 von 4 durchgekommen (das hatten wir auch schon lange nicht mehr), zum anderen haben bei den Frauen die eingangs gleich unglücklich an den Hürden Gescheiterten doch mit Elan weitergemacht und wertvolle Testerfahrung gesammelt. Und eigentlich hatten alle ihre Highlights: Grimm wieder mit 6300+, Weißenberg u.a. mit tollen 200m (nur der LJ-Anlauf passt noch nicht), Kienast ist im LJ wieder zurück, Dehning mit Klasse JT und Sprengel eigentlich durchweg vielversprechend. Was mir allenfalls nicht gefallen hat, war das mehrfach zu sehende Hadern während des Wettkampfes mit sich selbst (Meyer und gelegentlich auch Wolter). Die Top-Leute wie Warner/LePage lassen sich von Rückschlägen nicht weiter runterziehen. Abhaken. Die Saison ist noch lang!
f) Warner ist mit seiner bisherigen Saisonvorbereitung sehr zufrieden. Konnte gut durchtrainieren. War in Santa Barbara mit den Trainingspartnern Mechler und Gaio (meint anders als AOD, dass Konkurrenz im Training wichtig ist). Glaubt, dass er im PV noch einen break through heuer erleben wird. Sein 4.80er wäre locker 5m+ gewesen. Hier war am 2.Tag der Konkurrenzdruck einfach nicht mehr da. Den würde ich für Paris definitiv auf 8800 taxieren. Der sehr fachkundige ORF-Kommentator meinte sogar: "wer an Warner vorbei will, muss nahe an die 9000 in Paris ran."
g) Annouk Vetter sichtlich noch nicht in Topform und dennoch 6600+. Die hatte am ersten Tag selbst noch nicht daran geglaubt, hier den zweiten Sieg einzufahren. Sie wird in Paris definitiv zu beachten sein. Wird jetzt eine Woche Urlaub machen und Rom auslassen.
h) Auf der Tribüne war zu hören, dass Steinforth wohl nach Ratingen kommen soll.
Fazit:
Pro Tag laut ORF wohl an die 7000 enthusiastische Zuschauer, tolles Wetter und sogar die "Bratwurst-Qualität" scheint sich deutlich verbessert zu haben...zumindest konnte man Victor gnüßlich nach dem SP mit einer Wurst-Semmel sehen. Der trainiert tatsächlich jetzt in der Goon Squad bei Chris Huffins (und hat den Wettkampf eher relaxed bestritten ... den wird man in Paris auch beachten müssen; derzeit funktionieren einige technische Disz. noch nicht optimal).
