Hier mal ein aus einem Artikel aus 2004:

Paula looked completely downcast. She hadn't done well in the race and then her old man was losing it, right in her face and it was all caught on camera for the world to see, over and over again."

Lough keeps Radcliffe to a strict training regime, allowing her little down time and leaving no room for any romance. He is said to insist on mapping out every waking minute of her life.

Mir war die Kombination aus den beschriebenen Verhaltensweisen und Radcliffes bekannt gewordenen Blutwerten immer etwas suspekt und hat mich an Salazar erinnert, aber letztendlich ist zu Lough deutlich weniger bekannt. Insofern war die Aussage etwas zynisch und orientierte sich daran, dass Farah auch bei ihm gelandet war.
Was Referenzen angeht, hat er in den letzten Jahren neben Farah auch Bashir Abdi und Abdi Nageeye trainiert, wobei Nageeye letztes Jahr die Gruppe verlassen hat. Zumindest waren die immer sehr viel in Äthiopien unterwegs, man muss also fast von ausgehen, dass das nun auch zukünftig Klosterhalfens Haupttrainingsort wird.
