Wenn es klar wird, dass da Athleten eigentlich hätten teilnehmen wollen, verstehe ich es nicht, dass der DLV hier dermassen borniert ist und dies nicht möglich macht.
Ich bin nach wie vor der Meinung, dass der Verband sich mit dieser "Elite-Politik" mittelfristig einfach selbst ins Knie schiesst. Die Decke unter den Olympiakadern ist ja definitiv nicht wirklich üppig, oder?
Und wenn man da dann Athleten ignoriert und ausbremst, dann ist das kurzsichtig - es schwächt Athleten, Vereine und Trainer. (Aber hey, diese Ahtleten sind halt einfach beim falschen Heimtrainer, falschen Verband oder Verein... ...)
Wenn man schon im Jugendbereich eigene verschärfte Normen aufbaut und damit Chancen verbaut, internationale Erfahrung, Visibility und Motivationsschübe zu bekommen, und Chancen auf Sichtbarkeit für Athlet und Verein verbaut, dann muss man sich nicht wundern, wenn Athleten andere Optionen als die Forcierung einer (Hoch)leistungssportkarriere in D ins Auge fassen.
