Interessante Aussage, wenn man bedenkt, dass Frankreich nur eine Medaille gewonnen hat und in der (meiner Meinung nach sogar aussagekräftigeren) Nationenwertung der Top 8 genau gleichauf mit Deutschland ist. Es war also nichts Tolles und gab auch keine Schwemme an Sportlern mit guten Platzierungen.

Ich bin wirklich niemand, der in diesen Dingen nur Schwarz und Weiß sieht. Aber ein "Momentum", das in Eugene aufgebaut wurde? Wenn das die DLV-Verantwortlichen gesagt hätten, würden sie hier im Forum aber verbal in Stücke gerissen werden. Und zwar zurecht.

Und das soll nicht heißen, dass zum Beispiel Happio nicht super war. Natürlich war er das, auch ohne Medaille. Aber an der Gesamtbilanz ändert das nichts. Aber vielleicht muss Barras die Dinge in Richtung Paris ja schönreden.
