Laut offizieller Hompage der EYOF ( Termin: 25.07.-30.07.2022 in der Slowakei) sind in der Leichtathletik alle Einzelwettbewerbe und eine Medley-Staffel ausgeschrieben. Jede Nation kann maximal 28 TN melden.
Nach den Nominierungsrichtlinien 22 des DLV (s. dort 6.3) will der DLV lediglich 23 Athleten/Athletinnen zur Nominierung vorschlagen. Auch will der DLV nicht alle Disziplinen besetzen, er hat insoweit selektiert ( s. 6.3.3.).
Kann mir jemand eine nachvollziehbare Begründung für diese vom DLV gewollte Einschränkung nennen?
Finanzielle Gründe? Wäre schade.
Da in den Nominierungsrichtlinien ausdrücklich geregelt ist, dass eine Teilnahme an den Junioren-M U 18 die Teilnahme am EYOF ausschließt ,kann die evtl. Überlegung der Überforderung junger Athleten bez. ausgewählter Disziplinen wohl auch keine Rolle spielen.
