Es ist halt einfach schwer...
Irgendwo ist es ja fast zynisch, von Leistungssportlern zu erwarten, mal "eben" die Berufsausbildung und Zukunftsperspektive schleifen zu lassen oder eben auf Eis zu legen.
Natürlich können nicht alle an die Uni, aber wäre es zumindest nicht eine Option, a) die Sporthilfe (deutlich) aufzustocken und die dann b) mal mindestens eine Olympiade, also 4 Jahre, zu garantieren?
Man müsste halt vorher gut sichten und gezielt junge Athletinnen und Athleten mit Entwicklungspotential ausgucken, die dann zumindest mal für 4 Jahre (und bei entsprechender Entwicklung logischerweise nochmal 4 usw..) abgesichert wären und sich auf den Sport konzentrieren könnten.
Oder irgendjemand hypnotisiert einen Multimillionär, der dann sein komplettes Vermögen in die "Stiftung Deutsche Leichtathletik" einbringt, das wird wohl leider ein realistischeres Szenario sein :-)
