Von den 9 haben 7 eine Bestzeit unter 9.95 und die beiden Engländer sind zu Recht dort der eine als Europameister und der zweite mit deutlich besseren Ergebnissen als Jakubcyzk bei diversen Meetings. Die Läufe sind komplett ausgebucht. Es werden 18 Starter am Start sein. Ueblicherweise wird die Bahn 1 nicht benutzt, da sie leicht weicher ist als die übrigen Bahnen. Ein Entgegenkommen an die Langstreckenläufer.
