Man muss zwischen Stil und Technik differenzieren. Auch beim persönlichen Stil wie bei Michael Johnson damals z.B. gibt es gesunde und ungesunde Ausprägungen beim Stil.
Bei Coleman hat man anscheinend nicht an der außenrotierten, pronierten Form gearbeitet. Das kann gerade im Spitzensport ein Manko sein. Ich trainiere keine/n, der nicht hart daran zu arbeiten gewillt ist. Die Leistung ist für mich da kein vorrangiges Kriterium eines Teams. Es ist eine Frage des Wissens und der Verantwortung. Jede/r der meine Schule durchlaufen hat, kann meine Härte und Kompromisslosigkeit in der Hinsicht bestätigen: Nulltoleranz!!!
Es gibt Schwächen, die man beseitigen kann. Wenn das nicht der Fall ist, ziehe ich die Reißleine. Wie sagt der Warholm-Trainer sinngemäß: "Die Leichtathletik ist ein Gensport. Wer nicht die Voraussetzungen hat, sollte sich eine andere Beschäftigung suchen!" Ich ergänze: "Wer als TrainerIn dieses prophylaktische Wissen nicht hat oder nicht gewillt ist, in der Hinsicht dazuzulernen, sollte nicht in der LA arbeiten!!!" Bloßes Abkupfern bringt keine auch keine geistige Souveränität.
