Scherl ist ja relativ früh ausgestiegen in Mailand (zwischen 25 und 30). Wenn man davon ausgeht, dass sie einfach gemerkt hat, dass das nicht ihr Tag war und sonst keine Probleme hatte, ist ein zweiter Versuch eine Woche später vertretbar.
Fünf Wochen nach einem vollen Marathon (der noch dazu eine Fünf-Minuten-PB war) wieder zu laufen ist schon extrem. Selbst für den unwahrscheinlichen Fall, dass Hottenrott die Olympiaquali schaffen sollte, ist sie doch dann in Tokio platt.
