Um die Stars braucht man sich wohl keine Sorgen machen ... die derzeitigen Top 15 dürften sowohl bei den Frauen wie bei den Männern relativ "safe" sein (Kaul/Kaz/Schäfer). Leider sieht das für die Plätze danach deutlich heikler aus ... hier drohen unabhängig von der Norm auch über das Ranking schnell Veränderungen und Überraschungen.
Das könnte, wenn es ungünstig läuft, für Maiwald/Arndt/Weißenberg/Grimm etc. durchaus unnötig eng werden. Ebenso für Nowak/Brugger/Eitel/Bechmann etc. Und ich würde es wirklich für wichtig halten, dass alle Startplätze ausgenutzt werden können.
Und der Terminplan hat ja auch so seine Tücken. Die Hallensaison ist quasi eh gestrichen. Lana im April ist immer eine Wetterlotterie, für Götzis muß man erst mal ein Startrecht bekommen (soweit ich weiss sind da max.5 Plätze für Deutsche möglich? aber für wen? Und da viele Rankingpunkte zu holen, dürfte schwieriger sein als auf Reunion.) Ottawa im Juni macht keinen Sinn. Bleibt nur Ratingen als "letzter Versuch". Im Siebenkampf vielleicht noch okay, aber für den Zehnkampf mit Blick auf Olympia etwa 6 Wochen später (mit vermutlich früher Anreise) m.E. nicht optimal.
Ich sehe ja ein, dass Reunion mit Risiken verbunden ist. Und auch einiges dagegenspricht. Zumindest für die quasi qualifizierten Top-Leute. Aber die Franzosen machen da ja auch gleich ein Trainingslager (u.a. sind auch die Stabis da)... ich glaube für fast 3 Wochen. Wo gehen unsere Mehrkämpfer denn diesen Winter hin? Oder fallen die Freilufttrainingslager diesen Winter weg? Derzeit gibt es auch keine Reisewarnung für Reunion, Anreise über Paris wäre auch nicht zu umständlich gewesen.
Mir gibt auch zu denken, dass Lagger (Dadic und Preiner sind eh durch) und Ruckstuhl (Nr. 15 der Liste), die sich in einer ähnlichen Situation wie unsere "zweite Garde" befinden, diese Chance zumindest angehen.
