Danke für das Video. Interessant, dass Ovett bei 1.000 m gezögert hat und anschl. bis auf die Zielgerade an Wessinghage lutschte. Ebenso interessant, wieviel Zuschauer im Hintergrund zu sehen sind. Mit den Monaco-Bedingungen wäre das ggf. sogar unter 3:30 gegangen.
Wer war eigentlich der Pacemaker? Sehr gleichmäßige Pace auch ohne Lasertechnologie.
Die größte Überraschung in dem Rennen war wohl Hudak, dessen zweitbestes Rennen wohl bei 3:36 lag (?). Als 14-jähriger lief er bereits 2:38 über 1.000 m und als 17-jähriger 3:45 über 1.500 m (hat damals schon 2 x am Tag trainiert).
