Gesa wirkte nach dem Zieleinlauf schon sehr erschöpft . . . mag sein, dass da die Erkältung schon im Anflug war. Aber wer seinem von hohen Trainingsumfängen in der Höhe gestressten Körper dann noch den Wechsel ins nasskalte Mitteleuropa für ein paar Hallenrennen zumutet, muss mit so etwas rechnen.
Zudem meint sie oft vor Rennen im Anschluß an die Höhe, sie wüßte nicht genau wo sie stehe, hätte eben viel Grundlagentraining betrieben usw. Ich zweifle jetzt einmal ganz frech den Nutzen dieser monatelangen Höhenketten an.
Ok, es wirkt beim einen mehr, beim anderen weniger, aber dadurch wird man nicht mit in der Höhe geborenen und aufgewachsenen Afrikanern mithalten können.
Mir steht diese ganze Aufwand in keinem Verhältnis zur erzielten 9:05 oder Ergebnissen anderer Hallenrennen aus dem letzten Jahr. Dann unterlässt man Hallenstarts besser, läuft ev. vor Ort im Flachland einige WK oder steigt erst zur Bahnsaison ein. Oder schaltet eine kurze Straßensaison im März/April davor. Hier lief sie ja auch schon mehrfach ordentliche Zeiten über 10K und HM. Aber gute WK im Januar/Februar scheinen in letzter Zeit nicht mehr zu realisieren sein.
Zu meiner Zeit vor 35-40 Jahren hat man sich im Winter durch die matschige Crosssaison gequält, ev. Hallenrennen durch Trainingslager im Januar in Italien/Portugal vorbereitet, genauso wie im April dann für die Bahnsaison. Das mußte reichen und hat es auch. Die Spitzenleute gingen dann im Juli/August vielleicht nochmal 3 Wochen nach St.Moritz.
