Einige Punkte:
- Wie in Rio gibt es wieder mehrere Finals zur Morning Session. Dazu gehören u.a. beide Weitsprung-Wettbewerbe, beide Kugelstoß-Wettbewerbe, beide Hürdensprints und der Dreisprung der Männer. Die sind also leider nachts deutscher Zeit.
- Aufgrund der zu erwartenden Temperaturen finden Marathons und Gehens ab 6:00 Uhr bzw. 50 Kilometer Gehen schon ab 5:30 Uhr Ortszeit statt. Macht 23:00 Uhr bzw. 22.30 Uhr MESZ.
- Siebenkampf und Zehnkampf finden wie in Doha an den gleichen Tagen statt.
- Laut IAAF sind die Wettbewerbe so gelegt, dass Doppelstarts in den dafür geläufigsten Disziplinen (wie 100/200m, 800m/1500m etc.) möglich sind. Allerdings sehe ich, dass zwischen dem Finale über 200 Meter und den Vorläufen in der 4x100 der Männer nur 40 Minuten liegen. Klar, in den Disziplinen ist es möglich. Aber das ist schon unnötig eng.
