Das läuferische vermögen muss halt schon da sein.
Moen hat jetzt keine top unterdistanzen, aber immerhin lief er 2011 schon 13:30. Und vor allem hat er den vorteil wohl sehr ausdauerveranlagt zu sein.
Imo ist der ideale marathonläufer jemand der recht schwache kurzdistanzen hat und dennoch eine passable 5 und 10k.
Das erfüllt er imo perfekt. Keine nennenswerte 1500 m bl (die wäre jetzt sicher besser wenn er es nochmal probieren würde, aber nicht top) und auch nur 7:52 über 3k.
Gabius ist da mit 7:35 deutlich schneller. Diese tendenz ist imo schon wichtig, es gibt natürlich ausnahmen wie haile die brutal schnell waren, aber die meisten haben eben diese leichte aufwärtstendenz. Wenn ich 2 mit der gleichen 5k pb habe ist glaube ich in den meisten fällen der langsamere (über 1500,3000) der talentiertere im marathon.
Da hat gabius imo einfach einen nachteil da seine kurve ab 10k schon nach unten zeigt während moen obwohl er “arschlahm“ ist immer noch irgendwie eine 13:20 hingehauen hat.
Gabius ist über 10k zwar noch ein wenig schneller ( wobei ich moen da inzwischen ähnliche Zeiten zutraue), aber arne läuft das eher auf der letzen rille weil er eher der speed typ ist und daher auf der 2. Hälfte leidet. Seine top rennen sind daher ja oft gewaltige willensakte gewesen die er nicht oft bringen kann.
Klar kann es auch klappen wie bei haile, aber viele der sehr schnellen leute sind gescheitert (unter anderem ja auch baumann).
Daher ist moen da mit ordentlichen wenn auch nicht überragenden unterdistanzen trotz sehr langsamer kurzdistanzen einfach ideal. Röthlin war ja auch so ein typ.
Ausdauer kann trainieren, aber manchen fällt das einfach viel leichter, es gibt einfach leute die von Natur aus duracell hasen sind (das die trotzdem hart arbeiten steht natürlich außer Frage)
