Bei Mentaltraining müssen beide Wortstämme betrachtet werden. Wenn das Mentale nicht trainiert wird, bringt es nichts. Schlussendlich geht es darum, dass man in der Lage ist, seine Leistung zu bringen. Eine längere Wartezeit, Wind, Hitze etc. sind aber Dinge, wo man sich sicherlich auch ohne Mentaltraining darauf vorbereiten kann.
Ich hatte mal ein kleines Seminar bei einem Psychologen, der z.B. Olympia-Teilnehmer der Bogenschützen betreut hatte. Er meinte u.a., dass der erste Weg zur Erkenntnis der ist, dass man die Fehler bei sich und nicht bei anderen sucht.
