Was mich aber überrascht, ist dass er im Stabhochsprung nur 20cm unter PB einsteigt.

...wenn du die 44,78m hervorhebst musst du aber auch sagen wann und in welchem Kontext er sie gebracht hat.
Da er sie in seinem besten Zehnkampf (und letzten) gebracht hat ist das nun mal die Benchmark, und da sind 2Meter weniger halt gleich mal 40 Punkte weniger, kein Kindergebutstag an Punkteverlusten also
Es ist mir relativ egal, ob er die PB in seinem besten Zehnkampf aufgestellt hat oder nicht. Das ist nur bei Hochrechnungen bei Großereignissen interessant, wie wahrscheinlich es ist, dass er den Hochrechnungswer in einer Disziplin toppt.
Ich sehe ihn jedenfalls bei wohl recht schweren Bedingungen nicht weiter weg von seinen Betsleistungen als die anderen. Selbst Devon Williams ist über die Hürden fünf Zehntel hinter seiner Bestzeit geblieben.
Ich habe allerdings auch nicht erwartet, dass Wieland hier in Punkteränge vordringt, die ihn zum WM-Medaillenkandidaten machen.
Devon Williams hat bei seinem besten Zehnkampf aus diesem Jahr eine 4,57m im Stabhoch stehen, steigt aber laut live-ticker erst bei 4,61m ein.
Den Mutigen gehört die Welt...
Ich finde es schade, dass Duckworth den Weitsprung nicht hinbekommen hat. Wäre ansonsten sein erster 8000er geworden. Da könnte ein britischer Weltklassezehnkämpfer heranwachsen.

Wieland nur 4,71m, verliert damit wieder 30 Punkte...
Wie kann man denn 2,16m und 7,66m springen aber nur 4,71m im wichtigsten Zehnkampf?
Ich denke bei dem enormen Sprungpotential sollte doch mit dem Stab noch perspektivisch was drin sein
Edit: Devon Williams steigt wohl doch schon bei 4,31m ein, war dann wohl doch ein Fehler im System
