Gierisch ist auf dem Papier die Nummer zwei in der Welt.
Wester war nicht enttäuschend, sie lag nach zwei Durchgängen auf Platz zehn und hat im dritten Nervenstärle bewiesen, ich fand das sehr gut für ihre erste große Meisterschaft. Leffler war einfach nicht vorbereitet weil schon im Sommertraining, Paech fand ich auch enttäuschend, vielleicht war da die späte Anreise doch falsch?

P. Lammert und davor A. Kumbernuss kamen mit dieser Technik sehr gut zurecht, und es schien so, dass beide sie perfektionierten.
Beide hatten sie verletzungsbedingt (!) benutzt; wie ich in Halle 2005 bzw. 1997 sah, stand diese Technik der Angleittechnik kaum nach.
Und dass sie vor allem bei Mehrkämpferinnen Zuspruch findet, ist fast logisch.

Peter Baum, mein damaliger Trainingspartner im Marl, hat diese Technik schon in den 60er-Jahren durchgeführt, weil er Schmerzen am rechten Knie hatte.
Man muss differenzieren zwischen Lammert, Kumbernuss auf der einen und Ashton Eaton auf der anderen Seite. Eaton steht im Gegensatz zu Lammert und Kumbernuss auf dem rechten Fuß am hinteren Kreisrand und setzt links relativ nahe danach oder daneben hinten auf und dann rechts mittig und links vorne am Kreisrand. Lammert und Kumbernuss stehen hinten mit dem linken Standbein und benutzen das rechte Bein als Schwungbein und setzen dann rechts mittig auf. Es sind zwei verschiedene Techniken!!! Die Schweizer Mehrkämpfer habe ich manchmal in Götzis mit der Kumbernussvariante stoßen sehen. Ich würde folglich zwischen Zwei- und Dreischrittwechselvariante differenzieren.
