Wer weiß, falls Gesa Krause die 3000 denn auch gelaufen wäre. Zumindest war sie lt. DLV-Teilnehmerliste für die 1500 gemeldet, wie Konstanze Klosterhalfen zugegebenermaßen allerdings auch.

Nicht die Medien bauen den Druck auf; der Athlet macht sich den Druck im Endeffekt selbst. Er muss vor allem im Sprint Farbe bekennen, was seine deutschen Zeiten wert sind. Nur der internationale Vergleich bei Topereignissen zählt und nicht ein DR in Clermont oder Weinheim.
Mein Resümee:
Tolle, z.T. überaschende Leistungen, viele pBl; beste Stimmung in der "Arena" vor fachkundigem(!) Publikum.
Das Beste aber: Die in den vergangenen Jahren zu laute Musik und die sich scheinbar überbieten wollenden Sprecher
war(en) zurückhaltender. (Ich erlebte früher ältere Besucher, die deshalb früher gingen.)
S o wollen es die Besucher!
Auch die Unsitte der vergangenen Jahre, bei der Vorstellung der Teilnehmer alle anderen Wettkämpfe anzuhalten, fiel flach.
Zu Recht erhielt die Messestadt für 2017 erneut die DM.

Vielleicht nur eine andere Zusammensetzung im Sprecherteam? Ich habe Julia Nestle gesehen und meine Dirk Bartholomy gehört zu haben. Die verstehen ihr Handwerk.
Letzte Woche in Dortmund war aber eine Dame dabei, der zuzuhören nicht leicht viel: Viel zu laut, gekünstelte Sprachmelodie und eigenartige Betonung.
Das kann einem den Tag in der Halle schon vermiesen...
Es war eine tolle DM mit vielen Bestleistungen der Athleten. Die Entwicklung von Klosterhalfen wird mir langsam unheimlich. Mal eben im Alleingang einen U20 Eurorekord aufgestellt. Mal sehen wo ihr Weg noch hingeht.
Ariane Friedrich muss weiter Geduld haben und fleißig an vielen Kleinigkeiten arbeiten. Bei ihr bin ich überzeugt, dass sie die Quali für Rio schafft. Eine alte Dame aus Spanien hat ihr vorgemacht, dass man in hohen Alter noch über 2m springen kann. Bitte nachmachen.
Ich bin nach wie vor davon überzeugt, dass Harting seine neuen Haare besser stehen als Jungfleisch. Anscheinend kommt sie mittlerweile besser damit zu Recht.
Die Art wie sich Wester präsentiert ist einfach toll. Wenn sie ihre Lockerheit beibehält werden wir noch viel Freude an ihr haben.
