Eben mit diesem System kann man es noch weniger als mit der alten B-Norm. Denn man weiß ja vorher nicht, welche Zeit am Ende reicht. Was jetzt genug ist muss noch lange nicht genug sein, wenn der Qualifikationszeitraum abgelaufen ist. Um sicher zu gehen muss man sich also immer weiter und weiter verbessern und so nahe wie möglich an die A-Norm herankommen.
Bei der ehemaligen B-Norm hatten sowohl der Verband als auch die Sportler zumindest einen Richtwert, von dem sie wussten: Wenn man den schafft, kann man theoretisch nominiert werden. Das ist jetzt nicht mehr so.
Klar kann der DLV sagen: "Wer dann unter den besten 45 ist und Meister wird, kann mit." Aber da keiner weiß, was zu Rang 45 reicht, hilft das den Sportlern gar nichts.
