Worauf ich hinauswollte: JEDER Athlet kennt das Problem, manchmal geht nicht viel zusammen, oft kann man man das nicht erklären. Jürgen Hingsen hatte das Pech, dass ihm bei seinem Blackout Millionen zuschauten, ABER er hat davor und danach oft genug bewiesen wie gut er "es" kann - insofern KEIN Problem.
Es zeigt sich aber auch, dass die Nervenstärke sehr entscheidend ist, siehe Daley Thompson! War er der bessere Zehnkämpfer? Ich würde sagen (höchstens) gleichwertig, aber es ist schon auffällig, dass bei den Großereignissen Thompson sein Bestes zeigen konnte, während Hingsen das eher unter "unbeschwerten" Bedingungen tat - in der Summe der Einzelbestleistungen stand Hingsen deutlich stärker da.
Ich wünsche T. Schmitt, dass er sein Selbstbewusstsein und damit seine Nerven genau so wie die Physis trainieren kann - Potential ist vorhanden, erst wenn er selbst dran glaubt, werden es ihm auch die anderen glauben müssen. Wir brauchen hier jetzt auch nicht die anderen, hier bereits diskutierten Athleten anführen denen dies nicht gelang - Leichtahtletik fordert nun mal die Siegertypen, auch mental!
