Theoretisch kann man im Drehstoß mehr gute physikalische, sprich automatische, Momente und Kräfte benutzen als im Angleiten. Es liegt an der Drehung. Um zu verstehen was ich meine sollte man sich mal Krokodile beim Abbeißen beobachten. Ist zwar grausam, aber natürlich. Die Beissen nicht ab, das können die gar nicht, die Drehen stücke ab. Dabei haben die nicht mal Bodenkontakt im Wasser, entwickeln aber enorme Kraft durch Rotation um die eigene Längsachse im Schweben. Wie es geht werde ich nicht erklären.

Das ist auch das "Geheimnis" jeglicher Gelenkstabilität (wie bei Kugelgelenken generell), gegen die oft sträflich gesündigt wird - übrigens eines der Hauptfehler beim meist heißgeliebten Bankdrücken.
