Dort wird nämlich genau hingesehen und entsprechende Technikbilder beanstandet und Versuche ungültig gegben. Also: Weg mit der Regel, damit alle Drehstoßer die Möglichkeit haben, Crousers Technikansatz als Leitbild zu nutzen! Wo kämen wir denn da hin? Wenn jeder sagen würde, wo kämen wir denn da hin und niemand ginge, um zu sehen wohin man käme wenn man ginge...

Der Rekord wurde nicht anerkannt! Keine offizielle Zertifizierung der Anlage, zu großer Ring und eine abschüssige Landefläche.

Das mit der abschüssigen Landefläche ist eine Sache. Das scheint mir grundsätzlich bei Indooranlagen gar nicht so einfach zu sein, da die Regularien einzuhalten. Aber das der Ring 2-4(!) cm zu groß im Durchmesser ist, versteh ich so überhaupt nicht.

Der Satz ist ja von Crouser selber. Er hat für sich schon Ringe selber gebaut und diese waren immer gut. Nur der Ring bei dem Wettkampf ist dann offenbar von jemandem ausgesägt worden, der offenbar zu blöd dafür war. Warum die nicht einen Standardring für 1000 USD kaufen können. Was er zu Hause macht ist mir egal ob er da Karbon oder Holz nimmt. Vielleicht schenken wir dem US Verband ein Meter Massband aus Stahl.

das bittere für Crouser ist ja eigentlich: Es ist das zweite mal, innerhalb eines guten Jahres, dass Hallenweltrekorde einkassiert werden, wegen Mänglen seitens des Veranstalters
Ansonsten wie ich auch schon gesagt habe: Das mit der abschüssigen Ablage kann ich irgendwo verstehen. Das darf natürlich auch nicht passieren, ist aber im Verhältnis schwerer zu messen und zu kalibrieren. Einen Ring aus Holz mit exakt 213 cm Durchmesser baue ich euch jederzeit in 1-2h. Das ist ja wirklich nicht so schwer aus einer großen Holzplatte einen großen Kreis auszusägen. |
