Keine Frage, DAS muss jeder leichtathletisch Interessierte unterschreiben.
Das Wasser welches ich in den Wein gießen muss, hat aber überhaupt nichts mit dem Sport zu tun! Schaut man sich die Zusammensetzung der Verantwortlichen in den Öffentlich-Rechtlichen an, fällt einem etwas auf: Es gibt da doch einige, die auch in den Vorständen von Fußballvereinen engagiert sind.
Schaut man sich des weiteren die Methoden eines Herrn Ecclestone an (der sich gerade gegen Zahlung von 100 Millionen € Strafe, wegen Bestechung, Korrpution, Steuerhinterziehungen etc. freigekauft hat) und seine Verbindungen zu den Fernsehanstalten (vorwiegend private), dann fragt man sich ob da nicht noch mehr Gelder geflossen sind…
Nicht unerheblich sind auch die Verbindungen von Autoindustrie, Werbetreibenden und Fernsehen und dies beschert uns "Motorsport" satt.
Bedenkt man dann noch die Verbindungen von Fernsehen und Politik, sowie dem Umstand, dass Politiker sich eher beim Fußball (weil vermeintlich massentauglicher), als bei Leichtaathletik (Zürich etwa) oder anderen Sportarten sehen lassen, brauchen wir uns über den Einfluss der Politik auf die Programmgestaltung auch im Bereich Sport, keine Illusionen zu machen. Da gibt es tatsächlich politische Populisten die fordern, dass Arbeitgeber ihren Arbeitern zeitliche Zugeständnisse wegen der WM machen! Noch Fragen? Immer noch Hoffnungen auf Veränderungen?
Wenn Menschen wie ein T.Bach, in höchste sportpolitische Ämter gehieft werden, die als ehemalige Leistungssportler die heutigen Aktiven eher als "schmückendes Beiwerk" für "ihre" Groß(Wahn)veranstaltungen empfinden, platzen wohl auch die letzten Illusionen.
