Da bleiben wohl nur die Mittelstrecken, die in London was reißen müssen - und Kiprop und Kwemoi zeigten heute alles andere als Top-Form, wobei Cheruiyot und Manangoi noch überzeugten (obwohl ich nach den Trials noch eine etwas schnellere Zeit erwartet habe).

Schon merkwürdig, dass sich der Trainer erst so weit aus dem Fenster lehnt und de Grasse dann das Gegenteil behauptet. letsrun.com hat sich erlaubt darauf hinzuweisen, dass sowohl Bolt als auch de Grasse von Puma gesponsert werden - ob es da eine Ansage gegeben hat, dass öffentlich keine schmutzige Wäsche zu waschen ist? @mic.now Ich hoffe ja, dass Ezekiel Kemboi ein Wunder vollbringt, aber realistisch ist das wohl nicht ---edit und ungewohnt war es schon (wenn auch nicht überraschend) - Jager hat vor heute Abend noch nie ein DL-Rennen gewonnen. Jager ist aber auch heute das erste Mal dieses Jahres gestartet. Letztes Jahr startete er vor Rio (meines Wissens) bei keinem einzigen und 2015 können wir uns ja alle noch zu gut an seinen Fast-Sieg erinnern. Gehe auch mal davon aus, dass er aus seiner taktischen Fehl-Leistung von der WM 2015 gelernt hat - in RIo war er ja schon ganz nah an Gold.

Für mich war Bolt erwartet stark.
Und er wird sich wie üblich in den nächsten Wochen noch um einige Hundertstel verbessern. 9,85 schafft er nicht mehr - aber vielleicht knapp unter 9,90? Von den nicht Anwesenden wird Bolt wie immer knapp vor Gatlin einlaufen (der wird ja auch nicht jünger), aber irgendwie fürchte ich, dass einer aus der Gruppe Blake, Colemann und DeGrasse ihn schlägt. Es könnte erneut reichen aber eigentlich wünsche ich mir, dass er nur Staffel läuft und quasi ungeschlagen abtritt (ich liebe halt Märchen
