zum Thema Spezialisierung (auch bei den Britinnen) muss man auch sehen, dass da die Konstanz wichtig ist. viele sind irgendwann mal 1,98 gesprungen, aber konstant können das nur wenige.
natürlich holt spezielles Training immer noch einiges raus, aber bei gleichem Niveau ist es glaube ich einfacher eine Medaille im Siebenkampf zu holen.
auch eine 2m frau wird öfter mal 4. während eine 6600 punkte frau in der regel immer die Medaille holen wird.
eine morgan lake würde sicher mal 2m springen, aber wenn sie das potential im Mehrkampf hat ist das einfach die sicherere Medaille.
wenn sie merkt das es nicht für ganz oben reicht wie damals hellebaut kann sie mit anfang 20 immer noch wechseln.
