Ich glaube, dass man nicht nur die Platzierungen, sondern jeweils auch die Aussichten eines Athleten beim Höchstereignis sieht. Was traut man wem in Amsterdam und Rio zu? Mich hat schon schwer beeindruckt, dass Weber vor allem zwei starke Würfe gezeigt hat: Toperergebnis zum Topereignis. Er war auf den Punkt topfit. Boris Obergföll hat sich aus dem Procedere zurecht herausgehalten, weil er zudem als Heimtrainer beteiligt ist. Die Entscheidung für den einen Athleten ist in dem Fall immer eine Entscheidung gegen einen anderen - leider! Ich selbst hätte Weber favorisiert. Er scheint sehr gute Nerven zu haben und bei wechselnden Winden gut werfen zu können. Das wären für mich gute Kriterien zu einer Amsterdam-Nominierung gewesen.
Für sehr viel schwieriger halte ich die Entscheidung im Speerwurf der Frauen. Die Deutsche Meisterin sollte ohne Wenn und Aber ohne Verpflichtung für Amsterdam für Rio gesetzt sein. Eine der Topathletinnen bleibt zu Hause. Das wird bitter!!! Ich bin mir aber sicher, dass Maria Ritschel das fair im Vorfeld des Verbandes als Vorschlag entscheiden wird. Es wird sicherlich keine Entscheidung gegen eine Person primär, sondern eine sachliche.
Auch das Diskuswerfen der Männer hat Brisanz, wobei nach jetzigem Stand die beiden Hartings und Jasinski aus meiner Sicht vorne liegen. Wierig bekommt aber die Chance in Amsterdam. Es ist sehr wichtig, das bei dem Nominierungsprocedere die "Kohlen der Athleten hinsichtlich Rio nicht verglühen". Schnelle Entscheidungen halte ich für wichtig, um noch eine ruhige Zeit der Rio-Vorbereitung zu haben.
