Das ist sehr schade. Zumal seine Vorstellung vom Doping der ästhetischen Auszeichnung des Sports widerspricht. Denn die Heiligung des offenen Ausgangs und des Unerwarteten hat auch eine ethische Dimension. Und die wird bereits durch die Absichten des Dopings durchkreuzt. Denn dabei will man sich gegen die Wechselfälle des sportlichen Geschehens absichern.
Wer sich handelnd mit der Kontingenz arrangiert, der kann ohnehin kein Freund des unbegrenzten „Machens“ - im Dienst des unbedingten Erfolges - sein. Das wäre ein absoluter Widerspruch.
