Nach Budapest gab es tatsächlich keinen tieferen Tiefpunkt, das ist erst einmal positiv. Um kurzfristig in relevanter Größe Änderungen zu erzielen, sollte man sich auf die Low-hanging-fruits konzentrieren: Das ist das Athletenpotenzial, das bereits internationales Niveau hat.
Es werden kaum mehr als 5 Athleten sein, die in Budapest und in Paris performed haben (in der Nähle SB, PB) und in den techn. Disziplinen mind. Top 12 und den Läufen mind. Top 15 erreicht haben. Die wenigsten Athleten zeigen wirklich Konstanz über mehrere Jahre hinweg und mal drei Jahre in Folge ist die absolute Seltenheit.
Dass ergänzend die nächste Generation entwickelt werden muss ist selbstredend.
