Ein kleiner Exkurs zum Thema Normen.
Bis 2013 gab es die A- und die B-Norm. Ein Land konnte pro Disziplin bis zu drei Athleten mit A-Norm oder einen Athleten mit B-Norm nominieren. Der DLV hat so gut wie nie jemanden mit einer B-Norm nominiert.
Ab 2015 wurde die B-Norm abgeschafft und die A-Norm verschärft. Die Felder wurden dann aufgefüllt nach der Bestenliste innerhalb des Qualifiakationszeitraums. Anstelle der Bestenliste wird jetzt die Weltrangliste als Kriterium für die Nachrücker verwendet.
Dieses Mal nimmt der DLV auch Sportler:innen mit, welche noch nicht mal die B-Norm von 2013 erfüllt hätten.
