Wären die Franzosen einige Tage vorher abgemeldet worden, hätten wir den Fall Parsons. Warum sollte Parsons Quali dann regulär sein und Thorwirths nicht?
Natürlich ist es bescheuert, wenn Verbände Leute nicht rechtzeitig abmelden. Aber ein Recht auf Teilnahme hat jemand, der die Teilnahmevoraussetzung (Norm oder Listenplatz) nicht erfüllt hat, nicht.
Aber Termine haben rechtliche Kraft, das sollte jeder, der schonmal mit einer Bewerbungs/Abgabefrist o.ä. zu tun hatte, wissen.
Wenn Ranglistenposition zum Stichtag X zählt, dann ist das halt so. Dann haben die Nachrücker kein Recht aufs Nachrücken bzw. nicht dasselbe Recht wie diejenigen, die vorher ausreichend hohe Position hatten. Es gibt ja auch praktische Gründe. Wenn sich drei Tage vor Start jemand verletzt abmelden muss, rückt auch niemand mehr nach. Das ist dann auch nicht unfair, selbst wenn theoretisch noch jemand nachrücken könnte.
Es muss eben gleich so kommuniziert werden, dass bis zu einem weiteren Tag nach dem ursprgl. Stichtag noch offen ist, was für Korrekturen u. ggf. Nachrücker es geben kann.
Der Punkt war doch, dass Athleten nicht tagelang enttäuscht oder in falscher Hoffnung sein sollten.
