Unmittelbar nach dem Gewinn Gatlins habe ich das Bild weggeklickt, noch bevor es eine Zeitlupe geben konnte…
Ich kann mir aber ein paar prinzipielle Gedanken nicht verkneifen:
- Auf der einen Seite will man den Eindruck erwecken man bekämpfe Doping und sperrt eine Nation die sich partout nicht an die Regeln halten will und bestraft damit auch nie überführte Athleten… (damit kein falscher Eindruck entsteht, ich befürworte ohne Wenn und Aber die Sperre Russlands!)
- Auf der anderen Seite lässt man einen zwei mal ertappten Dopingsünder (genau genommen sogar dreimal… die erste hat er auch durch Gerichtsbeschluss aus der Akte bekommen), der sich zudem nie reuig gezeigt hat wieder antreten. (Das Argument, "Er hat sich reingeklagt" ist schwach, denn das IAAF ist ansonsten schnell flexibel in der Anpassung seiner Regeln, wenn sie etwas wirklich wollen, Meisterschaftsvergaben z.B. Funktionärsprivilegien z.B.…)
Der Kampf gegen Doping ist tatsächlich dabei zur Farce zu verkommen - nicht die Tests als solche - es werden Regeln aufgestellt um die Zuschauer und "Politikerherzen" zu beruhigen und dann wird nicht entsprechend gehandelt und geahndet. Wieso sollte sich ein Athlet abgeschreckt fühlen zu Dopen, wenn ein Gatlin Weltmeister werden DARF. Ich wünsche dem IAAF, dass in Gatlins aktueller Dopingprobe wieder eine Substanz gefunden wird, die da nicht hinein gehört, allein um die Farce offensichtlich zu machen. Und mir geht es nicht allein um Gatlin, er bekommt nur als schon Gebrandmarkter zu erst auf die Fre…e. Alyana begeistert mich kein bisschen und ich kann die Regie sogar verstehen, wenn sie DIESEN Lauf nicht unbedingt die ganz Zeit verfolgen mögen (nicht erst seit Seppelts Bericht zur äthiopischen Doping"fahndungs"praxis).
Zur Farce passt für mich übrigens auch der Umstand, dass man hier Medaillen neu vergibt, die den Athleten vergangener Meisterschaften durch Betrüger gestohlen wurden - und "feiert" einen Sprintsieger, der genau dieses auch getan hat… (ihm wurde 2006 auch ein Weltrekord aberkannt), aber er ist jetzt glaubwürdig. Man hält die Zuschauer wohl für komplett dumm, weswegen ich die Buhrufe sehr gut nachvollziehen kann > sie sollten aber nicht Gatlin allein gehören, sondern zu 50% auch dem IAAF!
