Ich wette mal, im Hammerwurf Männer werden wir keinen einzigen Versuch bei ARD zu sehen bekommen. Das wird so wie beim Dreisprung der Männer. Da wird lieber Karsten Dilla beim Aufwärmen gezeigt werden.

Somit wissen jetzt alle, dass Angerländer eine 100m Bestzeit um die 10.60 hat.
Ich hatte gestern von zwei Höllentagen geschrieben, damit die DLV Bilanz noch geschönt wird, aber das geht heute eh nicht. Realistisch hat nur eine der Diskusdamen eine Medaillenchance, optimistisch (damit mein ich mich) auch noch Kristin Gierisch und nur Träumer trauen Dilla eine Medaille zu. Allerdings hatte ich bei Gierisch nicht mit Saladuha gerechnet, die ist das ganze Jahr konstant 14.30 gesprungen, ohne Ausrutscher nach oben. Aber nach der Quali ist sie wohl doch in guter Form. Valar aus is.

Was macht uns so besonders, dass unsere Athleten nur teilnehmen dürfen, wenn sie Endkampfchancen haben? Wenn alle Nationen so nominieren würden, dann hätten wir bei internationalen Wettkämpfen sehr kleine Starterfelder, und man könnte auf Vor- und Zwischenläufe verzichten. Es geht doch hier um den sportlichen Wettkampf, und auch hintere Plätze wollen belegt werden.

Und das wäre für mich ein Grund, eben auch die 2:40-Läuferin nicht zu nominieren. Nur weil die EAA im Marathon keine Norm setzt, sollte man nicht Leute mitnehmen, die d e u t l i c h schlechter sind als Athleten die Normen erfüllen müssen. Reus ist auch aufgestellt. Doch nicht so schlimm gewesen...?
Die Niederländerinnen sind 20, 21, 22 und 22 Russlands Schlussläuferin gerade mal 17
