Mir leuchtet das zwar ein, aber es besteht eben auch die Gefahr, dass man einige, denen die für Hürden nötige Koordination fehlt (oder die einfach Angst vor der Barriere haben), zu früh abschreckt/aussortiert, die aber gute Werfer oder 400m-Läuferinnen werden könnten.
Aber ganz banal: Wenn es eine Disziplin in der Jugendklasse gibt, lohnt es ggf., sich darauf zu spezialisieren (weil man da die beste Chance für DM oder internat. Teilnahme hat). Und man kann ja noch weniger erwarten, starke Leistungen in den Aktivenklassen zu erwarten, wenn es eine Disziplin in der Jugendklasse NICHT gibt. Das muss ja nicht heißen, dass nicht genügend Grundschnelligkeit trainiert wird.
