Die Zweifel an der Qualität der Datenbank sind natürlich berechtigt, aber das ist dann eine grundsätzliche Frage, die man im Internetzeitalter angehen kann und muss - und zwar von Verbandsebene. Der ein oder andere kennt vielleicht die DFB-Datenbank fussball.de, wo alle Vereine und Schiedsrichter durch die Spielordnungen verpflichtet werden, zeitnah ihre Ergebnisse zu melden. Wer das nicht macht, wird durch eine Geldstrafe dazu ermuntert. Ich glaube, mittlerweile muss man dort sogar einen Liveticker versorgen, das habe ich aber noch nicht genutzt und bin mir deswegen nicht ganz sicher. Warum engagiert sich nicht der DLV bei der Betreibung der jetzt schon ganz guten Datenbank und verpflichtet die Veranstalter zur Meldung der Ergebnisse? Dadurch würde man sicher auch Nachwuchstrainer und Athleten stärker dazu bringen, auf die korrekte Eintragung ihrer Ergebnisse zu achten und kleinere Fehler auszumerzen. Vielleicht kann man das dann sogar leistungsanalytisch oder für die Früherkennung von Talenten nutzen.
