@Jo: Aber danach kam eine Schwächephase, mit ein paar misslungenen Meetings und u.a. einem Ausstieg. Ich glaube der war in Oslo.

Die Gestaltung der 800 Meter Rennen war richtig gut, was das Tempo der ersten Runde angeht - even pace orientiert! Ein bravo an den Veranstalter, so lassen sich Normen laufen. Hering hat das klasse gemacht, endlich ist sie mal auf der Zielgeraden nicht gestanden sondern hat gut durchgezogen. Ihre Runden waren ca. 59 und 61, ihre erste Runde war also 2 Sekunden schneller als die zweite Runde, das ist ideal und entspricht dem überlegenem Prinzip einer auf even pace ausgerichteten Renngestaltung. Reuther hat es in ähnlicher Weise versucht, leider hat ihm (noch) ein wenig die Tempohärte gefehlt. Schmidt hat eine andere Variante gewählt und einen imposanten Sturmlauf gezeigt - sie hatte bei 600 Metern ca. 1:28. Kurz dachte ich, sie könnte es tatsächlich durchlaufen, das wäre eine 1:57 geworden. Das Laktat wird ihr auf den letzten 200 Metern krass in den Körper geschossen sein, und sie konnte das Tempo nicht mehr halten. Die Norm wird sie in einem ihrer nächsten Rennen sicher noch schaffen, und vielleicht gelingt es ihr zukünftig, bei noch weiter verbesserter Toleranz einer hohen Laktatbelastung, solch ein Rennen ins Ziel zu bringen!

Krause ist dieses Jahr schwach, aber nach den erfolgen der letzten Jahre hat sie denke ich einfach mal den Benefit ob Doubt verdient. Allerdings ist da natürlich noch einiges zu tun, die Konkurrenz ist besser geworden und ihre Form war bisher schwach.
Für ne Medaille muss man aber wohl nur knapp unter 9:30 in Europa laufen, das sollte sie wohl noch hinbekommen.

Wenn es nur zu hartes Training war, lässt sich das hoffentlich noch ohne allzu große Einbußen korrigieren. Es ist definitiv deutlich enger beim Hindernis der Damen geworden, selbst wenn das Niveau in Europa immer noch eher schwach ist. Ich finde nach wie vor überraschend, dass die Britinnen, die etwa 10 um/unter 4:10 und 6-8 um/unter 15:30 Läuferinnen haben und den Crosslauf der Damen in Europa seit Jahren bei der Mannschaftswertung dominieren, nur eine einzige mittelprächtige Hindernisläuferin haben (Clarke mit BL um 9:30) . Vor zwei Jahren konnte bei der EM nur Gega einigermaßen mithalten und Krause hat ihr auf den letzten 500m fast 10 sec. abgenommen. Momentan ist Krause selbst mit 9:39 noch 8. in Europa, es sind bisher nur Gega und Grovdal unter 9:30 gelaufen. Aber Schlumpf ist anscheinend leicht verletzt, daher noch gar nicht gestartet, die Dänin Moller scheint zwar seit Rio bei ca. 9:30 zu stagnieren, aber die ist 21, da ist auch noch Luft. Und wenn Burkard noch ein bißchen besser mit den Hindernissen zurecht kommt, kann sie auch 9:20 laufen. Natürlich ist Krause, wenn sie die Form von 2017 halbwegs erreicht, immer noch Topfavoritin. Nur eine Medaille statt Titelverteidigung wäre aber sicher eine Enttäuschung für sie. Und selbst für eine Bronzemedaille muss man diesmal vielleicht näher an 9:20 als 9:30 laufen. |
