Rekorde um jeden Preis. Ganz toll. Technische Entwicklung hin oder her. Irgendwo sollte es halt Grenzen geben.

Warten wir mal ab, ob die Bahn wirklich so schnell. Das Proof of Concept muss erst noch erbracht werden.

Ein ordentlicher Regenschauer während der Sprints und schon … (Beim Zeitfahren der Radler - insbesondere bei den Frauen - hat es auch einige Pläne zer- / er- / hingelegt)
Die Bahn soll speziell auf die Carbonschuhe ausgelegt sein - vermutlich hard responding - die Langstreckler sollten also möglichst nicht länger auf den äußeren Bahnen laufen? (Ich erinnere mich an die Füße von Haile Gebresselassie, bis aufs Blut wegen eine extra harten Bahn …)
