Ist für mich schwer vorstellbar, aber die scheinen als Weltverband tatsächlich ohne CDN zu arbeiten.

Ist ja wohl ein Riesenunterschied zu Eugene. Da waren viele Europäer schon am schlafen.

Sehe ich auch so. Sie werden die Technik gefragt haben. Akamai oder andere hätten da noch die eine oder andere Million verlangt.
Möglicherweise ist einer noch auf die Idee gekommen bei der EAA die Europäischem Daten abzurufen weil deren Server hat auch Probleme und die gibt es nur wenn Zuviele IO anfragen sind
